Alain Geoffroy, photographer, and Dominique Gais, painter, combine their art since 1994. Their cooperation was born with a collection over a hundred painted photos, black and white pictures reinterpreted with inks, pigments and wax. Product of two crossed and curious eyes looking at the world, these painted photos attest a mutual respect for each one's work. The fusion of their two worlds creates strangely real images, significantly shifted between dream and reality. The many and varied themes resulted in numerous exhibitions since 1995, the date of their first joint presentation. Some of these painted photos are published in postcards.
